Cayman over the Alfa? Cayman's are a dime a dozen anymore. Maybe a Cayman S, but I'd still take the Alfa over that without a second thought. You have to see the Alfa. The Alfa slaughters a Cayman on the track, at least until the transmission overheats. The Cayman's advantage is that it's more civilized, the Alfa doesn't have power steering so it's a bit tougher around town; it is in between a Lotus and a Cayman--more comfortable than a Lotus, not as comfortable as a Cayman.
I enjoyed that...
Would love to own a 4C, but just not sure it would be reliable.... And then the question of capable dealerships.... And then if it ever got hit.... What body shop would have the skills to find all of the damaged carbon fiber glued on parts and repair them properly...

Sitting in the third stall down, keeping extremely quiet while getting my M/A forum updates, and hoping management won't find me until after payday.
Is it the same as the Fiat allure?
Does Fiat hope to reach the lofty Alfa allure... Or is Alfa trying to distance themselves from the lowly Fiat allure?
Which lure are we fishin with here?
I dunno, neither is noted for reliability, yet both are cars Clarkson claims a true car enthusiast must own at one time or another.
As for reliability, it's like choosing between a frozen fork in the eyeball, or a flaming spear in the rectum. Neither is particular enjoyable (to most people, there are exceptions, at least two of which frequent these boards), like Italian car reliability, it's kind a coin toss.
