So around $70K all said and done the way they do stuff out here. Still not too bad for that much car.
Oh and the yes the new Z06 you can get with an 8 speed automatic which as tested by Randy Pobst with Motor Trend is only .001 slower then the stick Z06.
It growing on me. The performance is great. I like the curves of the C5 better than the sharp lines. The black parts struck all over need to be body colored. Or just get a black car.
Yeah, specced with what you need, you are at least in the low-mid 60's. Here's the thing: it's a beautiful car. Pictures don't do it justice; it's the first Corvette that looks like a super car. I seriously considered getting one. But...It's too easy to drive on the track. It won't let you do anything stupid. That's fine for those who want to go fast with little effort, but more than a few have said it loses it's thrill lap after lap. And that's why I won't get one. The MINI is the exact opposite--nothing is given to you on the track, you have to take it. I like that.
I've had a Corvette Stingray for over 35 years.. Just finished restoring/repainting it over the winter, but unfortunately it is only a plastic model..
I've hated vettes for no particular reason but I saw a very pretty new one this morning. Silver with the led lights in the fog. It's an attractive car but just doesn't do it for me.
My problem is a corvette has been on my mind since before I was a teenager. It was on the bucket list before bucket list existed just like the Harley.
Great photo! These were the real Sting Rays. The new performs better (it's newer) and the quality may be better. But the 1st Sting Rays has them beat in looks.
Classic Mini still faster than the new C7 https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=804110142975554&fref=nf
I think for the money you can't beat a corvette these days. What a great looking car and performance to mach!
