Crazy. The video says "completely original". What a crock. That is reproduction artwork.

Plus, I remember hearing that she really wanted a Mercedes Benz.

I was at RM Auctions in Monterey when his plain 1970 911S sold for $1,375,000 -- RM Auctions is one of my customers. A whole lot of people were looking at each other in disbelief.

There is a replica of Janis Joplin's Porsche in The Museum of the Gulf Coast, in Port Arthur, Texas. She graduated from the same High School that I graduated from.

"After a while, the paint started to flake so they had it painted over in light gray"

Imagine what it would be worth if her brother wasn't a freaking moron.

Actually, I recall the plaque in the rock and roll hall of fame told a story about it being stolen and repainted by the thief. Maybe they made that up so they didn't have to admit to taking a rattle can to the artwork.

It just occurred to me that if an all-powerful and omnipotent God wanted to give Janis Joplin a Mercedes Benz, it would not be necessary for Him to buy one.
