    Hmm....hate to hit it from the inside with your face!!
    Sister did that in an accident...still took many YEARS of plastic surgery.......
    If the glass did not give...ouch! SPLAT! Yes seatbelts and now airbags could have helped...but glass that is hard as steel....

    Could have helped? I'm thinking WOULD have helped. The best way to avoid injury from impact with a windshield is to NOT make contact with the windshield.

    That glass is amazing. When I was at Corning they have a whole history of it and what it can do. At first it was a marketing failure. Then Apple heard about the stuff.
