Kind of looks like the profile was borrowed from Nissan's 350/370z line. Not that that is a bad thing.
I've always loved the A110. That new one reminds me of it. Not a fan of the new ones giant wheels & no sidewall tires.
^^^^^ The side view of the new one is great especially the rear fender and back glass. There are too many great wheels out there to worry about the ones that come stock. That car is now at the top of my Powerball purchases!
I read it might be marketed in the U.S. as a Nissan. Of course, that may have been based on more wishful thinking than insider knowledge... They managed to include some style call-backs at the front from the A110.
I think it's a shame they took inspiration from the A110 (which was just pretty) when they had the A310 available: in its day, it really did stop traffic due to its styling
Yes, that is a rather nice vision. Anyone know what it is going to cost and when it is available, not that we will see it here. I think it is the blue that makes us think of the early Alpine. Don
Yes, the usual.... For a retired guy these new sexy cars are only going to be available if I win the lotto. :confused5: But I at least have a MINi, although it is a big MINI.
Huh... They think one car will bring this French brand back into the US? Renault Might Bring Alpine to the U.S. If It's Successful in Europe
I'm old enough to remember when Renault's, Peugeot's & Citroen's were sold here. I wouldn't touch one then & most likely wouldn't now either. Love the A110 Alpine, she's pretty, but to costly & high maintenance for me.
Those are all great cars for European driving and I have driven each brand all over there. They are established there and are great cars. However, with all the established imports over here already, I just do not think they will make a go of it over here, especially since it will take years for them to establish themselves here as dependable vehicles.
