What's your favorite Hot Hatch? Not just the brand and model but the year or generation too. They don't have to be sold or have been sold here in the US. They don't have to be 2 doors. They have to be fun, quick (at least for their day), affordable at the time, and have a hatch.

    I don't have just one favorite. I've always liked MINI's 1st and 2nd Gen S's.
But long before MINI's I loved the Omni GLH and the Ford Escort Cosworth edition.

Yes it is in 1992. I was much younger & faster then. The older I get the faster I was.

Forgot to mention my 1992 Civic Si. A very fun hot hatch. Back then not as many pony's were available. We have it good now. HP & decent mileage.

Always wanted a Lancia Delta HF Integrale, but could never afford the insurance rates in England. I had an '83 1.8 ltr Golf GTI that was well fettled; head work, cam, exhaust, Audi throttle body matched to the inlet manifold, lowered 1 1/2 inches, etc, and a Delta (white with the standard size Martini stripes) left me like I was parked at the curbside.

I love my R56 MCS, but I've also owned a VW GTi, and loved it, too. I rate my MINI as more fun, but my GTi had the build quality and refinement of a the Mercedes I owned before it.
