I have a picture that will prove this is wrong. Somewhere......

Even so, it still does not make me want to buy one, but it does give them some talking points.

Mine locks at about 10mph. It's something that is programmable.

That second pic in particular was the one I was thinking of, however if that's an English version Mini, he was the passenger not the driver, so it still doesn't prove the inaccuracy of their claim. I remember reading years ago that he had a Mini that he preferred driving to and from work and in the city.

Notice anything different about that car?

See the driving lights mounted under the headlights, and the turn signals off to the side?

We took one out for a test drive. It's not bad, for what it is. Once the Abarth gets here, I'll take another test drive.
I can see having an Abarth and a JCW together.

If not mistaken...didn't MC2 when running their series on the history of the Mini, publish a pic of Enzo with his Mini Cooper?

I know new Fiats are completely new animals, but we had two Fiats and I learned to drive in a 1972 Alfa Romeo Spyder. You'd literally have to give me the Fiat500 and pay the taxes on it for me to get one.

That is what some folks, most likely, said when the new MINI came out. Can't really play down the new 500, simply based on the old one. As you said, completely new animal. Sure, It will have its design problems at first and may not make it, but the R50 & R53 did as well. In fact, there are still MINI owners complaining about, what they call, the "cheap" interior of the R56.

Don't let Jim know that the drag coefficient on the Justa is better than on the 'S'. He'll only gloat.
