WOW! That little volksvahgen beetuhl did a great job holding off that wiper! I love how it starts and finishes with basically the same thing. WOO!

Incredible! Apart from the "5-o'clock traffic" sense of the race, the Viper should have pulled away from the Porsche on the long straight, but didn't. Amazing how those drivers can change lines seemingly at random and still stay on the track...
Did you see the Porsche go around the outside on the Carousel? Geez

I thought the Viper would have the top-end to pull away on the straight too given how quickly he could close any gaps the Porsche put between them through the rest of the track. I guess the Viper has the cornering and acceleration but the Porsche's brakes and slight top-end advantage give it a fighting chance.

Remember that this is class racing. Both cars are in the same class so they would have about the same performance. Just compare it to the Rolex series GT cars.

    Great video!

Both drivers did excellent. Takes longer for the Turbo to spool up into the straights, and the VIPER although has more HP, is heavier going into the corners and has to slow down sooner which is probably why the Porsche over takes him.

There is nothing which handles quite like a Porsche.....except a MINI COOPER :D.

A Great Clip - Thanks Nate.
