I'm late to post this but there's still good racing going on. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAsf2wUrdAc"]Goodwood Members' Meeting #75MM 18-19th March 2017. - YouTube[/ame]
I missed most of it but I still saw some cool cars and some great racing. The final race bummed me out because I hate to see beautiful old classics get wrecjed. I wish they'd managed to do a better job of showing the final John Surtees tribute over the video feed. For those who missed it, it was a minute of noise rather than a minute of silence. Don't know whether they came up with that brilliant idea or maybe it's common and I've been living under a rock but the idea is everyone in the place fires up their engines to give a one minute blast of glorious, revving, open-pipe music in honor of someone who would have appreciated it much more than silence. Brilliant! But, unfortunately, poorly conveyed by their audio/video.
This one is a lot of fun. Nick Swift in his Mini jumped the start right behind the main offender, Blundell, but ignore that because the racing is great! [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIYvytEvOig"]Gerry Marshall Trophy full race | 75MM - YouTube[/ame]
