Here's the Photoshop mock up some years before I picked her up... I could find a pic at the time I liked of an Indie Blue/White aero kitted cooper S
    [IMG]

ok so here's day one...first sighting ever....ran...yes RAN to her...

first off road trip! LOL.... never ever did that again.... took me over a month to clean all the powdery dirt from all the cracks...

First fun run! Already had some mods... aero grille.. what?!

It was pointed out to me that she was quite fast for a stock car... people were asking me what I had done... so I took her to the dyno... Turned out I had a "wednesday build"....

    it was 102 degrees
    [IMG]

and she was carnivorous... especially at 110 MPH

    then...she started growing up...got n intierior....

and some new curves and stuff to her body...and her stripes grew alot... ....lots of CF stuff...weeee

now she's a Twincharged Monster making 400 WHP and is just silly... and the stripes eventually got played out.... people kept asking me how to do it... which I was happy to share... but my taste changed as the car got faster...

here's a pchop I did for an idea for wide arches, but realized just doing my own design for a proper wide body wasnt going to be much more than buying one I didnt really like.

Here's a little Tuner meets Ed Roth styling...

Just thought I'd throw some stuff in here. Some of the things I am planning on getting or have already gotten ;)

    Here's where we left off ;) 400 WHP/350 WTQ
    [IMG]

Vissuals.... yeeeeaahhh... should look something like this
    [IMG]

here's some of the stuff going in. As I collect the ACTUAL parts I'll change out the pics ;)

Lots of wiggins clamps, Waste gate, lots and LOTS of AN fittings and braided hose.

    The wheel

    ZX3R
Matte black center and inner shell
    Transparent blue outter shell
    18x11
    4x100
    -15mm
Titanium Bolts (1lb savings per wheel)

    Tires will be 295/30/18

yeah.. I know... it's allot of tire. I need it for traction.

    more carbon!!!!!!

These will be reupholstered to match the rest of course! Carbon leather and blue suede.

    the rods
    [IMG]

    so here's some process pics.

Start... still work to do on the shop and on the car ;)

    putting her up..

    the last setup... Twincharged.

The belt. haha short.. yes.. stuck in this shape... yes!

the horns section. Some suck, some blow
    [IMG]

Got a box for all the tools I am gathering for this build
    [IMG]

ahhhh the mess that is a lack of oil and spun bearing ;)

    Pulling the motor!

Well folks... this is where we leave off with the motor for now!

    Updates from here down:

Painted the new Dash yesterday. It's a phone pic so it's not great
    [IMG]

Here's a little Satin Carbon to shiny carbon comparison. I am going with all satin carbon to match the satin paint. Only on the out side. Inside things will still be shiny. :D

here's some fun pics installing the cage. I painted the rear of the car metallic black. (which I saw in Ryan's car and liked.) Looks nice and helps the rear look finshed. The front half of the car will remain with full interior.

Very inspirational, now do up an R56. :arf:

Any money left in the piggy bank. I like all the CF, takes skill to use it right. :)

    Marc,

My best guess is that this project will never be "finished". There will always be a new idea, a new technique, a new concept.

    Tuls, simply magnificent!

Thanks Paul, There is actually an end. That's why I have not put the car back together. This is the third build. This is the final build. There will be other builds. But not with THIS car. ;) The plans I have for this car cant really be exceeded after this. haha but it will be fun to drive!

It's nice to see the whole story (even heavily condensed) in one piece, since most of it happened before I knew about it. I have run across bits of it here and there, but in chronological order it is better. I hope when you decide to stop, Hal lives on in his final form for a long time.

Awesome. I've been a fan of your ride for awhile and I wish I could tool around the innards of a car like that. Kudos to a car well done. Oh yea...:D

Get in line for that, I am sending my wife over first. My wife still can't seem to understand that 'it never ends'.......... There is always something else to do.

Tuls seems to be on a very aggressive schedule though, very impressive! Awesome car!
