Hmmm. I'll have to see if anyone has done this before and they have a cut off...

Are headlights adjustable? I would like mine to shoot out just a "little" more. Is it complicated? For an idiot....

I'll take some pictures of the adjustment screws when I get home Goldsmithy... It's easy, but without a cable adjuster there is a lot of opening and closing the hood involved... (R50/52/53 only, R56 and R60 variants with fixed lights are much easier. )

The best place for you to look is the fourm below. They have all the info you would every need but you need to search and do a lot of reading.

I was going to change my OEM housing with parts from the retrofit source but the cost and effort was not worth it in the end.

^^^^ Yep! Find a set of OEM Xenon's from a part out, and have somebody code them in to work.

Goldsmithy, if you have the standard halogen lights here's your adjustment screws...

The Up/Down is the inboard screw ( 90% maybe 40~60% sure on that)

The Left/Right adjustment is the outboard screw...

If you have the Xenon's I don't remember if the adjusters are the same, I haven't had those since 2009... Paul could probably tell you though.

The HID / Xeons have the exact same adjustment screws for the HID housing.

Dick's dorked memory bank is spot on for which screw does what. I just had to adjust my right headlight last week. The Bentley manual shows it very well too.

If you don't have a garage ceiling to work off of to make the adjustments... I like finding a 7-Eleven, or similar convenience store with a brick exterior and a level parking spot to use as a guide for alignment. Granted it can be tough to find one with a level parking spot that matches the level lines of the brick... but it works in a pinch.

I have a TON of reading to do. I may have to learn up on NCS-Expert and learn to code myself. Nobody around my area specializes in MINIs that deep.
