    Just purchased my first mini almost 1 month ago. The weather has not been nice to say the least. It's a used 2009 JCW. It looks like it was loved by it previous 2 owner.

    Congrats! If you have snow tires, the weather makes no difference. It's fun.

    The mini came with performance summer tires.
    Did not have it in the budget to buy snow tires right away.

    I bought used ones from someone posting here. I just got my "winter mini," a clubman, 2 months ago. Didn't have the money to get new ones either. They have 2 seasons of wear, but work perfectly at less than half the price of new.

    Did a little housekeeping since there were two threads. Moved all posts to the thread with 2 images, deleted duplicate posts and then deleted thread with single image.
