1st post. I noticed in the photos from our local CBus group that some of you have installed a grille badge. I have a R55. The part number I located on the site selling badges part # 51 13 0 443 374. The grille on my R55 is chrome, unlike the one I see in the product photo for the mounting kit. Just want to make sure I order the correct part. Is it true the '09 Clubman has pre-drilled holes in the grille to install. Thanks!

I put a grill badge on Babs R55 Justa Clubster. Her MINI is on 08, no pre-drilled holes in the chrome grill. I removed the grill & added the needed holes. The badge holder I used was the like the one you've pictured. After one winter it was a rusty mess, don't bother with that one.

I replaced it with a Go Badge holder I got from Outmotoring. It's a much nicer product & does not rust.

    Welcome to M/A

    Welcome Aboard!

The GoBadge holder is the way to go. 5min to install and no holds. It will hold any badge not just theirs.

The R56-R55 justa grill is one solid piece that looks like it has slats. Pretty odd really. When I had the one off of Babs clubster I took my handy dandy drill & swiss cheeses it. Lots of air flowing through there now. :D

:cornut: I did the same thing with Margi's(08 R56) bonnet scoop mesh cover. Maybe that's why the scoop has never melted.
