Hello from "The Racing Capital of the World"

    Thought I would take a moment to say hello to everyone from Indianapolis, the racing capital of the world. Seems fitting to own such a fast, fun car to drive in this part of the country. I bought my used 2007 MINI Cooper S in 2012 and have enjoyed almost every moment of it. I have sank almost $3k in repairs in it to fix the timing chain issued (known issue) and the water pump that was leaking really bad. As painful as the money has been (money I would have loved to spend on accessories) the car is the most fun vehicle I have ever driven. It is a joy to drive it each day. Anyway, thanks for reading all this and I will see all of you around the Motoring Alliance site. Here is a picture of my car.

    Welcome and thanks for sharing the beautiful image of your MINI. :Thumbsup: Great setting, wonderful light, good composition. Do you have others? Please share. We do like seeing photos of all the different MINIs, but we also like seeing great photography, such as you demonstrated in your post.

    I do like the Union Jack mirror covers on your red MINI. Your addition? Or PO?

    Green Flash, thanks for the kind words on my photo. I took that with my iPhone 4S. I have since gotten a DSLR and hope to add more pictures of the MINI in the future. I bought the MINI used and the mirror covers came on it already. That saved me about $200.
