    Hello,

My mini seems to have radio & OBD Issue.

Yesterday morning everything was working just normal. I had regular servicing done yesterday afternoon, then noticed HI TEMP message on the radio and radio stopped working. Today entire OBD is not working(not displaying). Has anyone heard of this happening before. Could this be related to battery.

    Thanks.

I am not sure but who did your service? I would be taking it back to them if it was a dealership.

    Hi,

My earlier post related to my 2010 Mini issue 'HI TEMP message and then OBD not working' is resolved after i changed the battery at local auto store.

The service was initially done at Mini dealership. Yes i did took the car back to dealership. It was so sad that Mini service could not resolve/troubleshoot the issue correctly. They said the audio system is burned and i have to buy & install it (total estimate is close to $1,000).

Then after i spoke to one of my buddies (who also has Mini), i went to local auto zone and replaced the battery. Immediately i didn't notice any change, but about a day everything seems to be normal and working.
