I have always wanted a New Mini since I was in high school. I kept a model of one on my night stand since they first came out. I'm originally from a small town in the middle of nowhere, so I never lived near a dealership. Well, life has progressed nicely since then, and when it was time for me to look for a new car, I searched for a Mini dealership. As it turned out, there was one about an hour away, so off the wife and I went to see what adventures awaited us. I came back with a 2014 Mini Cooper S (I would kill for the GP, but that's going to have to wait a while).British Racing Green. Manual transmission. I have put about 1,200 miles on it so far and I'm absolutely in love. There are, of course, all kinds of things I want to do with her, but the first thing is definitely to either powdercoat my current wheels black or buy new black wheels. Exhaust is also up there. Between the relative quiet and it having been a while since I had a manual, I've found myself cruising down the road finally realizing I'm at 4,000-5,000 rpm's and need to upshift. Sorry for the long post. I will put up a picture when I get enough mobile data reception to do so.
Welcome! I too would love a GP, but also just bought a 2014 F56S. I just got it in GP colour: thunder grey. And I got black wheels. Post a pic, when you can. Adrian
Beautiful! I had wanted a Mini for years as well, and finally got mine this past April, so I can relate.
