    Wow! I bought a 2011 S convertible a couple of weeks ago just for the fun of it. I didn't realize there was a culture surrounding the Mini. What have I gotten into? Looks like it might be fun. Does anyone know if there is a club close to Johnson City TN?

    Welcome to MA! I'm the guy in the corner at the eMeets. The one in the shadows, because I don't have a Mini...yet. BUT, I can guarantee you that your "just for fun purchase" is going to quickly become one of your favorite cars ever. We are a quirky crowd (I can say "we", because while I don't yet physically own one at the moment, I have driven several. Oh, and I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once), but we are a group of the coolest people ever ;)
