Hi everyone! Just doing my first post to say hello and poke around the site. I've always stared slightly longingly at Mini Coopers and half wanted one, but living in the Northeast made me lazy and just want a nice SUV to plow around in the snow in. Having graduated college and preparing to drive out to my first duty station in Idaho, I decided to go with my desired fun car and get a Mini. I just picked up today a 2012 base cooper with 35k on it, Pepper White. I absolutely love driving it already, and I can't wait to get the chance to do some work on it! Look forward to chatting with all of you on the site.
Welcome to M/A! Get a set of rims and put snow tires on them for Winter fun. You'll have even more fun with your car as the MINI handles snow really well with the right kind of shoes on!
Thanks all! I am hoping for my wallets sake that the ContiContactPros that came with the car will get me through this season, so I can save and get a nice set of rims and snows. I miss running around in the winter with a front wheel drive hatch!
