Hello all!I don't know if you remember me, but I joined on here a while ago and I was getting ready to buy a MINI. One thing led to another and I never got it. However, (And Dick already knows this) I bought my MINI yesterday. It's 2006, Royal Gray with body colored roof and mirrors, Xenon lights, black+gray leather interior, Navigation, Sport Suspension, LSD, and sunroof. Two sets of wheels+tires, the stock MINI rims and these nice Prag Racing wheels. It's a 1-owner, Colorado car, less than 60k on the clock. Not a speck of rust on it, and it is in PERFECT condition. Besides some wheel rash, the car is flawless. I'm picking it up tomorrow, already put my money down on it, but here are some pictures from the ad.
Thank you! It was a requirement for me. Oh! Planned mods; 15% pulley, air intake, straight pipe exhaust (New header, no cat), tuned by Jan, some bigger brakes, and some nice coilovers. And then I have plenty of cosmetic stuff planned too. Mainly just blacking everything out. Haha. I also have a planned "stance" I want to achieve, I want it to sit something like this picture.
Also, I'd like to get as many parts by RMW as possible, but it seems Jan doesn't keep his products page up-to-date. Haha. ;P
Nice R53. I have a 17% pulley you may want to go with the 15%. Maybe ask Jan sense he is doing the tune and knows more then me.
Alright then.. why go 15%? The Meth should negate the high temps caused by the 17%, right? I'll definitely talk to Jan.
Congrats again! See you on the 19th! Keep your local shop's and all the MINI5280 members in mind when you start modding, we are a great resource.
Thank you! They sit very nicely in person. A little bit too much gap for me, but some coilovers and JCW brakes will sort that out when the money comes in. I'm not sure yet. The Dragon's a long way away, but me and one of my friends might drive down there just because. Hopefully I'll be there on the 19th! Maybe bring the girlfriend too. She lives in Denver. And is there a place to get a hold of MINI5280 besides FB? Haha. Ohhh shots fired, Dave. P.S. My current 17.2 MPG rating tells me I might need to let off the throttle a little for the next tank. But I've been showing off to friends and family. Who can blame me?? It's currently on Blizzak snow tires, and I'll be switching out to my summer tires tonight. Can't wait to feel the difference!
