Mini Juddering on Acceleration

    Hello,

    I have 2010 Mini hardtop. I had this issue couple of weeks back, and is now fixed. I just want to post this incase if any one come across this issue.

    Issue:
    Mini is juddering on acceleration (jerky motion) around 40-50mph. It seems okay at other speeds, or at least not noticeable.

    Fix:
    I took it to mini dealership, and mimediately they were able to suspect that its ‘spark plugs’ issue. They have replaced the spark plugs and all looks good. It costed my around $400.

    Glad to hear that your running okay now but sorry to hear it cost you a goodly amount for preventive maintenance item. Oh by the way, Welcome to Motoring Alliance !!

    And $400 for 4 sparkplugs and 15-30 minutes shop time...ouch!!

    $400 (4) plugs at the dealer is a standard charge. I paid it once before but it was unwillingly. :incazzato:

    $400 for spark plugs. That's nearly $300 for labor if you paid top dollar for plugs. Well, time to find a qualified MINI mechanic. Anyway, welcome, and enjoy your new ride.
