Signed up here a little while ago and liking this site better than the others. Bought my MINI last December with 121K miles and having a blast. Knew about the car from a guy at work for about two years and went for a few rides during that time. He decided to sell and I jumped at the chance. Things were only fixed when they broke so I've been going over it replacing the maintenance items. To summarize the work; Replaced bad tie rod, changed s/c oil, new water pump, thermostat and housing, PRW c/p, idler, and tensioner. P/S and fan replaced under warranty and new reservoir feed hoses. Replaced just about every oil seal I could get to on the engine; crank sensor o-ring, oil pan, and all timing chain cover gaskets/seals. Lots small things like interior clips, missing bolts/screws, bonnet badge, buttons, etc. Just ordered two new OEM front hub kits from eminiparts.com and I must say, Steven is the best! Thanks everyone for the welcome. Not many pictures of me driving but this one was taken last weekend while in the Bear Mountain region of New York. It was during the NEMINI "The Let's Go Get BBQ & Not Sweat It Out At the Grill Run!". Great fun was had by all.
