Hello,I am Audrey and I have a 2015 Mini Cooper.I always liked them since the movie,The Italian Job came out.Only thing I had installed was hand controls so far.I am confined to a wheelchair paralyzed from the waist down after my abusive ex husband shot me in the back 2 years ago and the bullet hit my spinal cord.I don't let what happened to me hold me back and my service dog Maddie whom I got last weekend even likes it.
Welcome to MA! Sorry to hear what has happened to you I am not sure I could handle it so well. Congrats on the MINI!
Hi Audrey glad to have you here. It is good you bought a fun car & are getting on with your life. If you have any questions the good folks here will help you. Welcome to M/A!
Luckily the hand controls were installed by an authorized person.Bought it in March and love driving it.I am moving on with my life being a mom also,a 16 year old son that has been great to me since this happened.
That's one hell of a "Hi everybody!" Welcome aboard. Kinda curious to see how those controls are positioned. Where do you even go for that kind of modification? There can't be that many places around.

My hand control setup is a Drivamatic Automatic Clutch and hands control system.Mine has the manual transmission and real easy to use.I even taught my son to use it although he is not in a wheelchair.Knows how drive a car with a manual transmission now and moves once in a while.
Manual Transmission!? I am impressed. We are here to help and one thing we are good at is helping out with what mods you need to do next. sway bar, springs, cold air intake. Let the Modding begin. Oh and pictures of your Mini too.
