Hi all! A few months ago I traded in my WRX hatch for an 06 JCW R52 6spd with 26,000 miles. It has a few thousand more miles, and a few modifications done now, but I am very happy with my choice. I bought it with a few issues, and have discovered a few along the way, but I regret nothing! After some modifications it is truly amazing, and I fit perfect even at 6'5! So far: Fixed oil pan/crank sensor leaks with new gaskets Wired in a new resistor to fix my cooling fan Replaced the failed OEM upper motor mount with Vibra-Technics Added OEM wind deflector (must have!) Added a TSW X-Brace Added a head unit / H/K enabler Added Corbeau RRS seats and custom brackets that sit 3" further back (maximum legroom!) I'm having a custom catback made later this month as well. Hi and welcome to MA! As an R52 owner myself, I'm always glad when another one shows up. Yours looks great and you've made some good mods, but I've got the feeling this is probably just the start. I think you'll find modding the machine is about as much fun as driving it and MA is the place to learn about both.
What an awesome low mileage R52! Congrats! Love the seats. And very good work on the other mods, you're off to a great start.
