Hello All! Some may know me from... that other place... I finally made the migration. My local MINI Club moved so I moved with them! I hope to be able to bring my 2nd Gen experience (and about 3 years of my old 1st Gen) and help anyone with question they may have. I'm always learning so I'll probably read more posts than I actually respond too. I have a 2007 MINI Cooper S that has many mods that I am proud to have installed all of them myself . My next project is going to be a Hybrid Turbo rebuild from GPop Shop, complete with ported and ceramic coated exhaust manifold. I'll probably have to do a Meth system and brake system upgrade after that, but one thing at a time... Glad to be here guys and gals! -Chris
Welcome to M/A! Quite a few of us came from that other site, so I'm sure you won't feel lonely and will even recognize some of us.
Welcome, also. Made the migration m'self...and don't forget pictures. PS: Dave O. has to use pre printed signs so he doesn't come off sounding like Dave O.
Pics! It did happen! Well, ask and you shall receive! Here is a short picture history of MINI life so far. I owned a 2003 R53 for a little over 3 years. I loved it. 100% stock. But the transmission was starting to have major issues so I decided to trade. My first Mods. Black rings and Tinted Windows! The Mod bug bit and I started to change everything. I used PlastiDip to make these stripes. I screwed up on the hood but I rocked it like this for a couple months. I felt rather ambitious just before winter started in late 2014. I definately got a lot of looks for this color scheme. I removed the stripes and blacked everything out I could. I started to run Michelin Pilot Super Sports in 215's when I bought the NM wheels. The notch scoop was probably the last mod before adding the JCW kit and completely changing the look of my car. Here is COOP as I was performing Plastic Surgery  Oh I also had a temporary anti-gravity mod. It didn't make for good cornering so I took it off. And now for some glamour shots! This is just some company my car keeps. This photo pretty sums it all up Motor On!
EIM now rockin' MA. Glad you found your way in. Love the transition pics. Racking my brain trying to remember where that last group shot was taken...
