    Hi all !
New guy here from the east coast, my mini is giving me some trouble. Today it over heated after a 30 min. Ride luckily I got home and just started to head out again I saw the temp. Gauge spike. It dumped in the driveway. I found the a/c pulley not turning, turned it off. After cool down 2 hrs. I added waster and purged, all seemed fine. 200 yards later EML trouble light appeared.

This led me here! So my crank pulley is noises & wobbling so I need to replace it. I don't have a book but I'm very mechanical.

Can I ask what up dates I should do and best method for the proper & least disassembly required, I have 128k on the clock.

Gee am I asking a lot or what lol
    Thanks in advance.

Welcome, thanks for joining Motoring Alliance, the FUN and Friendly MINI Community.

Here is an M/A Library article on how to Replace the Crank Pulley

Don't replace with OEM. An ATI from one of the M/A Sponsors such as OutMotoring or Detroit Tuned, or Helix is recommended.

While you're at it you will want to replace the belt and probable the tension pulley spring/retainer.
Since you're pulling pulleys you could get a reduction compressor pulley too and get a little more boost.

    Welcome Aboard!
