Welcome to M/A! Normally, most of us ditch the run flats ASAP, as they do not last long, are heavy, and are VERY expensive to replace. What most of us do is to buy normal tires and use a spare or buy some Slime and a small compressor to use to patch your tires should you get a flat.

And it's never a good idea to run dissimilar tires on a car.....especially with run flats.

Yeah, like they said, runflats are heavy, ride like crap, and cost a fortune. I've gone over three years without runflats or a spare (knock on wood). I do have a plug kit in the car. Besides, I do 90-pecent of my driving in the DFW area, so I'm never far from a shop that does tire repairs.
