    Hello!

I got my first Mini, an R50 in 2011. I went through a couple Midlands R65s until I finally installed a 6 speed Getrag using the Texas Speedwerks guide PDF. That worked out, execept I have this harsh aluminum flywheel. Needs the regular dual mass, once the current clutch wears out.

But then after searching for a year, I finally the Cooper S I was looking for, a one-owner 2005, all stock, only 24,900 miles.

Right now I'm getting ready to put in a 15% pulley, Milltek header and catback, and a set of Smith's magnolia classic Mini gauges with the Cravenspeed pods to mount them around the tach.

I think I'm going to ceramic coat the header before I put it in, and weld on a bung for a wideband oxygen sensor. I'd like a JCW intake, and probably 550cc injectors -- which I don't need but 380s are so expensive. Probably get a Bytetronic tune then?

After that, some R91 wheels, in white. I think if your top is white, white wheels are mandatory. JCW R56 brakes, a rear sway bar, and some street coil overs, like Megan maybe.

But first I have to get the justa Cooper ready and sell it off. Also I have a '74 Jeep CJ5 I took apart a couple months ago. It's ready to go back together so, really, I should get on that.

I also ride a '14 Triumph Street Triple 675 with a really cool looking Zard exhaust and '07 Honda CBR600RR, with a Yosh pipe and that old school logo.

My R50 velvet red metallic, white top, named Randolph Carter. New R53 is electric blue and white. Old owners called it Tom Thumb, I'm changing it to Bob's Yr Uncle.

    Welcome!

Sounds like you have some pretty ambitious plans. There are plenty of people to bounce your ideas off of, here.

I also have a blue MINI with a white roof, but I gotta' say, if white wheels were mandatory with a white roof, I'd have to paint my roof.

    CD :cornut:
