Many people ask me if XXXX strut brace will work with XXXX intake. So I thought I'd start a reference thread for people that are using an aftermarket strut tower brace and aftermarket intake together.
    So please post:
Which brand/style strut tower brace your using?
    Which brand/style intake you have?
and any issues with the combo or not?

I think this could be very helpful for people looking to do a certain combo to know if it will work before they buy.[IMG]

Great idea! In the R52/R53 column, JCW strut brace works with a Promini intake.

On an R53, the M7 strut brace works fine with the DDM Intake

M7 strut brace with the JCW intake works well. I would prefer to use the JCW strut brace but the previous owner cut out the shock towers to accommodate a set of camber plates. Thus, my need for a full plate on top of the shock tower...

03 MCS: M7 strut brace with Alta/with top. Rubs the top just a tinch, good thing about it, keeps the top on snug. Plus I removed the "Chewbacca" mat under the hood

Given the way the Defenders of Speed (DoS) Intake sits I would assume it's out of the way of most any strut-brace.

Might check to make sure you have the later NM bar, the earlier bars where slightly shorter. NM changed them all to make em fit.

Due to the time stamp on them it would make them appear before the thread even started. Talk about a mess...

M7 Strut Bar with DDM Steet Intake requires you to trim the DDM box on the 07 MCS.
