So, decided to get a set of coilovers. Seems the Bilstein B16 (PSS10) and Collin's BC Racing are the go to sets. As I see it the pros and cons are...... B16 are progressive springs and do not come with camber plates also req use of OEM top parts. But they are Bilsteins, hard to beat the quality. BC's come complete and have linear Swift springs in a custom rate from Collin, custom revalve and rebuildable. Not sure why they start at half the price of the B16s. Thoughts?
I'm going the Greene Performance route. Best product and value from my perspective plus you get Colin's knowledge of MINI. Mine are already ordered, want them on for the Dragon.
Love my Colin Coils. They Just Work. WELL. Can't go wrong with Swift springs, on anything. And Colin understands what spring rates really make sense on MINIs, unlike (seemingly) just about everyone else. Including the big names.
where do you get collins bc racing coilovers? i'm switching to stx soon, need some good coilovers and some camber!
Guess what showed up today......... Boy are these a well made product. Massively stout camber plates, solid rear strut hats, urethane lower bushings, new endlinks, and rear shock adjustment cable extension. And Swift springs!!
Awesome! They are real sweet, almost a shame to have to hide them. Cant wait to have time get put mine on, hopefully next month.
Not going to be able to get it corner balaced like I wanted.......no one around here can do it. Will have to wait till I can get to a real city I guess......
