If anyone has a set of coilovers, adjustable camber plates and/or any other upgraded suspension bits laying around please shoot me a PM.
Word of advice, BUY NEW. You don't want others problems or pay to have the rebuilt after they fail. Colin is now selling nice New Custom revalved BC Coil overs with camber plates and Swift springs. you cant beat the price. A few very good drivers at the Dragon had them and love them. https://www.greeneperformance.com/mini/suspension/coilovers/greene-performance-custom-revalve-coilovers.html
What he said. Used coilovers are never a good idea. And even Bilsteins fail... ask me how I know. Car goes into MINI tomorrow morning for a checkup on my coilover failure. Might be looking into Colin's coilovers in the future, because people have reported (albeit rarely) multiple front strut failures on the GP2.
Starting to keep track of this GP2 strut failure issue... 30 GP2s in Russia alone have had struts replaced. Bloody hell. I should've taken a ride in Bill's Whaler, I'm curious to see how Colin's coilovers ride.
I'm likely going to be up visiting HELIX next Thursday, 5/14. Feel free to stop by early to mid afternoon...
Having been a passenger the ride is very good. Better than my Koni Yellow and TSW combo. Should anyone want to donate a set... I'll just leave that there, ya never know.
