It was 41 today and some snow and ice melted and the Sun was out. Than after Lunch WHAM (Polar Vortex) dropped in and it's cold and windy about 17 right now going down to 10 degrees and the feels like is now -10.
Baby.... It's cold outside..... Gotta go in to work a little early this morning..... Need to price out jobs... Gettin a little behind....
-15 just northwest of C'bus. Furnace has been running non stop all night and it's still only 65 degrees in the house. A permanent move south is on my mind.
I'm south if you by maybe a mile or so, but only -06 here this morning. Surprisingly our furnace is not running that much, this place is insulated pretty well. Our old place was so drafty you could tell which way the wind was blowing with all the doors & windows shut. I guess 100 years ago folks didn't worry about things like insulation & air leaks.
Heat had no problem keeping up here. Don't even have the furnace turned up half way. This old building with its massively thick walls holds heat nicely.
