Our #1 highest snow total is 78.7 back 2009-2010
    #2 was 65.5 in 1995-1996
This year is only #3 currently at 55.4

Yeah we got 4 inch's last night but the temps are going up and the roads are cleared and almost dry already. Its 41 so far today and the snow is melting. YAY :D

It will be in the 40's all week here and Friday it will be 57 and Saturday 53.

I have at almost 3 feet of shoveled snow on my lawn at it lowest part and 6 feet at its highest.

Just dug out the down spout and sump pump drains at the curb. They were totally blocked with ice and snow. All flowing well now.

    56 this afternoon.

Washed car today, so I could start coating it with a fresh coat of melted snow and salt and other crud - plus potentially the worst blizzard of the winter in 48 hours. :mad2:

I knew we'd get punished for two days of 50-degree weather.

Today it was in the 30s, and we had a hailstorm (1 inch deep on the ground), followed by sleet, thundersnow and about 5-6 inches of new snow. Tonight, we have high winds and up to 4 more inches of snow to look forward to.

Travel is not recommended, so I'm going to just keep pounding the keyboard and whining … :cryin:

    "heart attack snow"

I hear you Spa2k, a regular pig pile of the stuff here too. Heavy wet stuff.
7th snow emergency called in Minneapolis this season to enable plowing (usually there are 3 a season)

Next week we go back below zero F........

2 days to melt stuff then back to winter next week.

I saw the farmer's almanac was more accurate than the gov's climate people so I looked up March and April. It said cold and snowy until mid April.

I need to find a warm garage to put on my suspension.

Nice to see all the snow melting. Too bad we get cold again, someday we will look back on this winter & laugh, but that will be a long time.

What kind of suspenders did you get for Walter?
