I know Jean Ragnotti is already in here somewhere but here's another clip showing what you can do with a FWD rally car. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvXJnFqv_Jg"]Renault Clio Maxi Kit Kar - Pure sound - YouTube[/ame]
What absolute commitment! Grab the hand brake point your wheels where you want to go & nail it. Wonderful stuff. Jean Ragnotti has been on my radar screen ever since he won the Monte in Renault 5 Turbo I in 1981.

I was amazed how much laughing they were doing and by doing so got lost in the notes. I barely say a word the whole rally apart from to speed up or slow down the feeding of the notes to match the speed we are going.

This is pretty cool. Rally driver's eye view (nearly) via helmet mounted camera. I've seen this in other types of cars/driving but I can't remember seeing it done in a rally car. It's jumpy but I still like it better than some of the cage-mounted views or other mountings because you get to look right where the driver is looking (nearly) rather then just where the car is pointing. This one had me laughing so hard I just about spit my drink on the keyboard. It's just the way Gronholm explains the incident - you'll see - right at the end of the short video. I remember that when it happened. Scary then funny now years on. A colonoscopy with a steel pipe yikes! Incredibly unlucky guy & incredibly lucky guy all at the same time. :eek6: Bet Timo will never forget.
