Had a new guy in the army do that with a 230 LCR excavator... Its easier to do than you would think, the trailer is only 10 feet wide with the side boards out, and the excavator is 12 feet wide, so a good bit of track is just dangling over the side...

After he dumped a track off, he crapped his pants and didnt want to even touch it... So I jumped in and took it straight off the side with only a couple broken boards and a little rash on the steel.

 

If that guy isn't a believer after that there is no hope for any of us.

 

Turned that accident into a "Teen Wolf Roof top Surfing"
