That is pretty cool. I was going to delete my rear wiper, I might rethink that now, I bet Owen/5Zero could do something awesome along those lines.
Look sweet on a Mini if your into that kind of stuff. Try and copy the Mini gauge numbers and style with the correct red line!
Thing is I really don't drive my car on the street that much anymore, just the track. If I had a street car only, I wouldn't do it, but at the track, it would be kind of funny...And I'd be tempted to turn the rear wiper on after a pass.

I like that car a lot. Not a fan of the color or livery that was used, but it will change once folks start racing them. I'm very glad the series will continue. Way to go Mazda!
Read the article earlier today. They did a great job with that car. I'm thinking that chassis can handle a ton more HP; I can't wait to see the next monster Miata....
For me that power level & tire size would be fine. I hope it is as nicely balanced as my NA is. I'd have to get rid of that stupid radio sticking out of the dash & add some spiffy silver wheels. The care looks good in motion. The release pictures did not do it justice.
Test drove a BRZ and felt it very underwhelming on power. Guess I am spoiled having 215 in a 2700# car. Even the test driver said it was a chore to keep it up on power. And any car can do with a bit more tire.......
The current generation Miata is fastest on a 15x9 inch wide rim (a few were testing 15x10s, that may end up even faster). Small diameter, bigtime width, that's where it's at. MINI is the same. I've instructed in a BRZ at Road America; it's good as is, but that car is just begging for wider, stickier tires, and another 100WHP.
I grew up on underpowered cars, rallied & raced them while having big fun. Guess I'm too entrenched in the good old days when 150HP was "oh man that's a lot".
There's nothing wrong with that--a Miata is a helluva lot of fun stock, especially if you're running with other miatas.
