-JCW turbo inlet tube oem. (Required for JCW turbo) Damn.... I just bought a new one from the dealer on my last oil change a couple of weeks ago... Cracked it at the turbo connection getting it out of the way to get to the great location the MINI engineers decided to put the oil filter....... GLWS
Yes the location of the filter is unfortunate. So is the location of the air filter, turbo, dp, and exhaust. The r56 could hold the current record of the hottest running motor in the smallest engine bay ever produced. I can think of a few other things I hate that are built into the design of the car such as key fob push start ignition, slinky oil dipstick, pcv configuration, timing chain design, chintsy valve guides, hpfp, weak oem piston skirts, seat belt chimes, and a Bosch ecu encrypted in enigma that takes someone like Alan Turing to tune. I'm also quite curious why there is a turbo "muffler" on the hot side boost tube at the same time there is a turbo "noisemaker" to the cabin on the cold side....
