I went on a two week Mediterranean cruise about six years ago. It was my first ever cruise. A few days after I got home, I was diagnosed with cancer. I don't do cruises anymore. :nonod: CD
Had my parents plus my sis (who drives a pepper white R56) and her boyfriend over this weekend to celebrate the Chinese New Year! Had a big Chinese dinner Saturday night. Then made some sticky buns for breakfast this morning. Then we all went to Broderick's for lunch. Got the duck burger with banh mi fries. Delicious! The fig jam really made the burger. After I stuffed my face, I walked out in the parking lot and saw this: The owner came walking up as I took the picture. He said he saw mine when he pulled in and couldn't resist parking next to it...super nice guy. As I drove us home, my husband made the comment to me that we Mini owners are basically a cult. lol. Had a good weekend! I'm stuffed. I think I gained 5-7 lbs over these past two days. Hitting the gym hard this week.
Oh my God you parked your MINI in the dirt! :eek6: You can't do that, you have to buy an SUV if you want to leave the pavement.
Haha! Funny you mention that...I had a big dialogue in my head as I pulled into the lot about where I should park. There were some spots in the paved area I could have taken, but they were next to beater cars. And only one or two cars parked in the little dirt patch. So I eased my Mini onto the dirt patch ever so gently... Downside was that I had to clean all the dust off when I got home. But now he's all shiny again.
Weeks worth or 9 years worth of Hot Sauce, does the bottle puff when you open that good stuff, Nathan?
Ohhh, what did you use to make? I did a sample of the first batch I made that I had set aside for when a friend comes from out of state to visit. Its probably 6 months old now and it got brutally hot, but still has a delish flavor. I'm about ready to start a new expirient since I am almost out of the green ghost and green habanero sauce I made last time.
Sitting in my warm sunroom with my dog sleeping on my lap, watchin my neighbor plowing his driveway, while he's watching me drink a delicious caramel bubble tea....
Love bubble tea! Made some challah this weekend (plain and cinnamon sugar). Been tweaking my recipe a bit and was really happy with how the flavors turned out in the end, but need to work on dough texture for the cinnamon sugar version. My kids want pizza for dinner tonight. After challah, pizza dough is oh so simple.
