If there are easily-frightened animals or small children nearby, save this for later. Otherwise, turn it up!!! If you have really good speakers you're gonna feel this one. :yesnod: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMxG5UOBhBY"]AUTOMOBILSPORT TV - FRANK STIPPLER MASERATI 250F "PICCOLO" MONACO HISTORIC GRAND PRIX 2014 - YouTube[/ame]
I didn't take the picture I just found it identified as Jackie Stewart followed by teammate Graham Hill at the Nürburgring (1966).
Well the suspension does look to be at full drop....... And did find this...If you thought Kobayashi is the only one flying his F1 car around, think again!
Feet legs & knees all part of the crash structure. How dangerous things used to be & no one paid it any never-mind.
.......and I believe this was even after mandating the feet were to be located behind the mid-point of the front wheels.
Could be. "Sorry your knees are up against the back of the steering wheel, Keke. The new rules meant we had to move the pedals but they don't say we have to make you comfortable." I can't decide whether that looks like a more or less comfortable driving position than this guy driving the new Nissan LMP car.
Might be ok for a 1/2 hour sprint race, anything longer could be a problem. But then again I'm thinking about my 67 year old knees!
