CR customs will wise up on the Apple! :)

You were driving 80 on CR roads? .... Are you nuts??? :) Or was that in the USA? ;)

I stick to the speed limit in the US...In Costa Rica there are some rules but not that many. Actually 80mph was a slow day.hahaha I think driving in CR is like a PS4 game with no reset button.

This weekend I fitted the decals and moved the heavy spare wheel around 10" further forward which seemed help the handling a little. Yesterday I was at Parque Vive (local race track) to show the Mini with some other rally cars. There was a drifting and drag racing event and some really strange groups of cars. Plus 1 original Mini spoilt by some oversized wheels. Photos to follow

Nice pics, Chris! The stuff I sent you should be waiting for you when you get back home! You can decide to install them or not.

Thanks chaps my pleasure, without your help I'm sure the Mini would still be off the road in the shop, I put you on my side so you're with me and the Costa Rica rally on the co-drivers side. All I'm waiting for is the EminiParts decals because the decals guy didn't make them! Duh...

Thanks Jeff, looks like I have a ton of goodies waiting for me!

Back in MA waiting to go to work to pick up all the goodies. I found a good use for the spoiler, I can carry all the trash bags from my house in CR to the trash collection area. LOL

Also here's the spare wheel moved about 10" forward.

Currently I have fitted the super soft worn out 2008 rear dampers which gives me very interesting handling. Soon to be replacing by the Riegers!

Well the good news is I have all the suspension at home...the bad news is Reiger sent a 10mm bolt hole bushing which we know should be a 14mm hole...so frustrating. The top mount are uni-ball and some nice remote reservoirs. Also I have the STI inserts. Now I'll have to wait for Reiger to fix it

Reiger sent the wrong bushes with the dampers. They will send the correct ones tomorrow.

Hey Chris, can I use that top photo on FB to get a rise out of a few folks with big wings on things that should not have a wing. :)

nope, I'm too busy writing on the forums...hahaha I dropped into Hendricks's Mini Charlotte NC for my 37 duffle bag and chatted to a nice young man Alex who is a racer. He had not heard of MA, Bloody hell a Mini guy not knowing MA! So I showed him MA and of course the Project car section. I left him searching MA...job done. Thanks Alex sign up to MA.

BTW I rented a Kia Rio in mustard colour! pretty crappy car. zzzzzzzzzzzz auto sucks and using +/- shifting is a little beter. My Accent is much better.

I fly through CR but I'm not there long enough to get out of the plane. Wish I stayed so I could take in a rally. By the why Chris I have had no trouble with WRC+. I use my iPad to send the shows to my Apple TV.
