It's being fitted with 15x9s now so I can run 225/45/15 R7s. It's gonna require body cutting and bending and flares because of the ride height its run at.

any setup tips? I'm going HPDE's first then going to GTS with my 2005 R53

    current setup
    KW v3 coilovers
eibach camber plates, 0 toe both ends, -2.5 in front rear is whatever it managed to get, I think 1.5 in rear
    JCW front calipers
    15x8 wheels with 205 re51 tires

bone stock engine with a cone filter, was also going to run autocross in STX class

Next up will be rear sway, and then bracing and a cage in a year or two, who build your cage?

I would suggest 225 over 205. I had trouble keeping 205s cool enough and I just do TT with the mini so it is shorter stints that a full race. 205 will be fine to start on, just like jcw brakes but once I got fast enough to be at the pointy end of the timesheet they couldn't last.

    I run toe-out front & rear.

If you can fit wider tires, do it. It was a huge improvement going from 205 tires on 7 inch wide rims to 225 tires on 9 inch wide rims. And 225 R7s are wide - same as 235/245 tires of other brands.

Illicit Motorsports built the cage. Tell Jason I sent you.

I also run toe out, missed that. I did start with zero toe but pushed it more and more out as I got comfortable with the car and it does magic to the speed of turn in.
