For starters, I drove downtown to report for Jury Duty. Having been excused after waiting for three hours, I decided to head over to the shooting range for a bit of therapy. All in all it was nice go get out in the MINI while the weather is still nice.

Picked up Buzz from the body shop where I had the gouges in the roof caused by my garage door opener (it's a long story) fixed, it came out great!

Took mine out for a ride with the wife. We stopped at Lowes and picked up 100 lbs of calcium cloride just in case we ever get snow again.

Currently wearing shorts and thinking about washing my car.

I've owned my MINI for 2 weeks so I decided to take him in to the MINI Dealer in Jersey for a safety inspection. Scheduled maint. it needed oil changed, break fluid changed, and a few minor things. Guy told me the original owner got an extended 7yr/100k extended maint. but he had to find out if that carried over to me. And it did!! I was so happy to hear that. So maint is covered until 2019 or 100K. Saved me almost $400 today. Multi-point inspection told me I need 2 new rear tires and an alignment. I'll shop around for tires this weekend.

Overall mega happy with their service and surprisingly good instant coffee machine. So happy for the extended maintenance too LOL

That's gonna be nice Dave. How many Alcats does it take to cover a Mini wheel?

Took my Daughter to lunch. Beautiful day for a drive. And, I got a Christmas present in the mail today. It was originally mailed on 11/11, but got lost shuttling back and forth between NC and CO. Worth the wait though. artisticreflection.com does great work.

I provide details about the wrap after I get my wheel back in my hands and inspect, install it again.

Today I got rid of the secondary cat and resonator on the Porker!

If you've thought about doing it, but are worried about the added volume level, just do it! You still hear more wind noise at 50 MPH than exhaust noise. (At least at my altitude, yes things will be louder the closer to sea level you get.)

I honestly don't know why I waited so long to do it, for me it's just about right.
