Chuck, that picture is mildly disturbing... And CrapaTalk has it pinned to the thread!

    Hopefully this changes things...

In the spirit of Fat Tuesday, I cooked up some shrimps in a skillet with oil, a ton of diced garlic, and a cayenne pepper from my garden (I froze some for winter use). I did't have time to make a rice dish from scratch, as I didn't know today was Fat Tuesday -- until today. So, I used some Zatarain's jambalaya kit-in-a box for rice to eat with my shrimps. I already had it in the pantry. Served with a big-ole glass of sweet tea.

    ^^^^ That works ^^^^

Had a nice steak and tomato stir fry this evening with rice noodles, lots of stuff went into the sauce, I should have taken a picture. My girl knows how to make a great stir-fry. :)

Making up a big ole batch of Chicken Veggie Soup. House smells awesome, plus it's warm and slightly humid on this cold winters day.

Put the rotisserie kit on the kettle and roasted a chicken today. The bird was brined for 8 hours, and stuffed with lemon chunks, fresh rosemary and fresh thyme.

I guess I am the only one cooking, lately.:confused5:

It got cold and rainy today, so yesterday, I made some chicken broth out of the carcass from the weekend's rotisserie chicken, and today, made some chicken noodle soup. The chicken is the breast meat from the rotisserie chicken.

    It really hit the spot!

BTW, I just happen to have a photo studio in the room next to my kitchen, and everything I need for food photos is handy, so it only takes a few minutes to set up and shoot my food. So, it's kind of a "why not" situation on the occasions that I do it. I also have parsley growing in the backyard, so why not garnish, too.
