And in 4th, Hamilton...number 44. 5th was Verstappen who will start the 5th race of the season in 5th place in the championship. 6th was Perez who finished the 2012 seasons with 66 points, 6 more than his teammate Kobayashi, who had 6 retirements in his last season in F1. Esteban Ocon finished 7th and "Esteban" has 7 letters. Hülkenberg finished 8th, who is now in his 8th season of Formula 1! (if we count his year as a test driver) Massa finished in 9th and had his big accident in 2009 Sainz finished in 10th which is 5+5 which is like his number 55 Stroll finished his 1st race, 1 lap down in 11th I have no idea if ANY of that above is true. Alonso had a good day...but there was a strange occurrence. Here is a still shot from his double bird execution. You can see the video in one of the clips in this article (plus the article is fairly interesting on its own): http://motorsports.nbcsports.com/2017/05/03/alonsos-first-test-day-indy-both-real-and-spectacular-video/

Look for the new livery this weekend too. Be easier now to tell who's driving which team car. Note the Shark Fin...
I've seen a few of those today and I get the sense they're not all going to do it the same way. If I remember correctly I saw a pic of a Red Bull car and it just had a big number on the shark fin, and here's a graphic from Haas with only the driver's name. They all have to make both the names and numbers larger - sizes dictated, I believe - but maybe the locations aren't dictated?
Meh. It's who has the yellow mast or the black mast. Black mast goes to the lead driver, yellow to number 2. Vettel and Hamilton always have black masts, no matter the team.
