Three corners into the first lap of practice in Spain and Alonso's McLaren BOC (box of crap) breaks down in a big way... Alonso goes and plays tennis. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
And in FP2 Alonso's McLaren BOC moves up to a solid 20th quick.. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Without spoiling it - was it a good race worth watching? (watch them all.. just figuring out if I need to multi-task while doing so. =)
Don't understand Ferrari using the soft tyres up in the first two stints and forcing Seb to finish on the mediums which were slower by a good bit in Spain... That and the timing of Hamilton's stop with the virtual safety car won the race for MB. Why MB saddled Bottas with an old and slower motor is something to ponder... Good race! Yes it was a good race. It is great seeing an actual race & not a parade with silver cars out front circulating around. I didn't understand Ferrari's pit strategy either, but it wasn't Lewis' tires that made him freight train by Vette. As for Bottas, that was an odd thing for Benz to put an old too close end of life engine in his car. Maybe they only had one of the new spec lumps available? On to Monte, should be a good race. :arf:
The lump they fitted for Bottas developed a water leak so they tossed that old one in the back. Then it went boom.
