I'm registered, but am doing the car show only, so, if you want to get a bite to eat afterwards, it will sustain me during the ride home.
I understand it's difficult to appeal to hundreds of people with expectations all over the place. It's incredibly challenging. All I originally asked was, "if we show up with a group on Sunday, where do we go" - all I understood from my question was, "you can't do this, you wouldn't be able to do that, if you show up at the hotel we won't be there, and it costs x, this costs y, and that costs z" I suggest making it more available/friendly to people who want to come for 1 day, not Thursday-Sunday. Not everyone wants to spend big and go home. And a swap meet for 3hrs? LMAO. Have you ever been to one? Just my 2 cents and food for thought.
Seems like a place all local MINI's & Mini's should be. Hope to see you all there. Hope I see no cheese whiz. Yuck!!!
I'm sorry, I guess I didn't understand your question As for a 3 hour swap meet it over laps with the car show.
The schedule on Sunday is the Rally leaving from the Hotel and then the Banquet starting at Two in Westerville. The two big days are Friday at the Hotel and Saturday at the picnic at Leeds Farm. We have some drives picked out but nothing on the schedule just yet.
If there are any local Ohio MINIs that would like to run or try a MINI/Mini only Autocross event, now is your chance. On Thursday June 28th Mini Meet East is having an autocross event in Circleville, just south of Columbus. The fee is only $35 and you'll get plenty of runs. The track is a go cart track not the typical parking lot. For more information visit https://sites.google.com/site/minimeeteast2017/autocross or call (614) 436-0700.
Here is a video to give you an idea of the general flow of the track at Circleville (actual course layout for the day is still being finalized) [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWbJ5Klw7Og"]Fastest clean run 06 19 16 - YouTube[/ame]
If only social media was being used, bet there's tons of fellow Ohioans who would. This weekend there's a large event at Norwalk Raceway Summit Racing is hosting, LOTS of Coopers are headed up for the Auto-X portion. Sorry, I can't stop pouring salt on this wound.
Then get off your ass and volunteer with COMO to produce the social media aspect. Fix the problem, don't just cry about it. See...I see a problem, then offered a possible solution. You can do it too.
Brian, did you make any effort to share the link to the event's website on any of your social media feeds or is it just easier to piss and moan about it not being spoon fed to you? I haven't owned a MINI in almost four years and still made an effort to get the word out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
 ^ you care too much though. I typed a lengthy reply, and realized none of you would give 2 GD's what it said. Troll Level: Expert Current Status: Retired.
Hoping to see some of this on the 29th out at Circleville. Latest shirt on Blipshift Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
