Son of a ....... After 23 hours and 58 minutes to cut a tire! Should have been their 9th, but there's always next year. Jacky Chan's team sure surprised a lot of people. Looked like they had a shot at 1st over all for a while there. All in all a great race. Except for those last two minutes.
It was just the Chevy team..........good to see Ford come in second!! Ok it was a little heart breaking. But still FORD
Comcast programming in this area, really sucked for watching the race, I read late but not TV late. 11PM on FS1, I guess I will wait for reruns. Hell the local paper did not even publish results. Sickening. :cryin: Don
Must have been the driving team of Blofeld, Drax and Zorin that did Chevy in against the Brits. :biggrin5: CD
There was uninterupted live streaming coverage on YouTube. The picture wasn't perfect, but still quite watchable. I think it may have also been on Fox Sports Go. The reality is that these days none of the networks are willing to commit to broadcasting for the full 24 hours.
Yes it is. There is also an app you could watch it with, WEC. You had to pay to see the race but it was a great way to watch it. Full coverage, live timing and you could watch replays and pick on board cameras to watch. I had it on my iPad and watched it both on my iPad and would send it to my apple tv to watch on the big screen.
one of the good things from Rally Mexico was meeting Gustavo, He works for Prodrive(lucky bugger) so he gets to go to the events with Mini and Aston Martin which means he will be a Le Mans Am I Jealous..........you decide. I will make it to Le Mans one day

That was a sad loss for the Corvette team. When he banged wheels with the Aston I figured he'd be lucky if he got away with no damage. The Corvette needs retractable valve stems. Good hard racing for the win by Aston & Corvette. :arf:
There is always a heart breaking story at Le Mans. Even if its not your team its hard to not feel their pain. It is truly a great race!
^^^^ That is the really incredible thing, and most people don't realize how much it is a high speed circuit.
Ouch! Le Mans LMP2 podium finisher disqualified (racer.com) Full article here: http://www.racer.com/wec-le-mans/item/141586-stewards-dq-lm24-p2-podium-finisher
What a ridiculous thing to disqualify a car for. I feel for this team. They seem to have used my method of starting an MG with a wonky starter. Long dowel rod & a knock off hammer. Whack & your good to go. I never was disqualified when I did it. My method also worked on SU fuel pumps.
