When money is involved you could see it coming and if they do it the rest of the big boys will follow suit...somehow.

I thought everyone considers HAAS the Ferrari junior team?

I thought Ferrari did the right thing, if Kimi could have passed Seb he should have, I don't think they should just wave him by......

Looks like the new EMP device. Once you are with in 1 second of the car ahead of you you can touch it off but only after 90% of the race distance is run.

Kubica did 142 laps today and his fastest lap was 4th of 13 runners. It's testing so you can't read too much into the times but 142 laps is more than just impressive given what one might assume about his physical limitations.

Kubica is back in F1! But is it for real? (motorsport.com)

Wow! I knew F1 tech was about fine details but things like this still surprise me.

If you watch, hang in there past the guy's intro where he explains how he got his hands on very modern era Ferrari intercooler and wastegates because the fascinating (to me) detail comes when he opens up the intercooler.

Though there's a lot of speculation in here (including Maserati switching it's entire vehicle portfolio to electrification?!?!), still worth the read IMO.

Loved the Brabham's back in the day with the Alfa motors, BT47-48 if I remember correctly.

There's actually a chance the Brabham name may be returning as well. David Brabham has been working on bringing a Brabham project to WEC or Formula E or (less likely) F1 and is recently rumored to be talking to Bernie: "Now the rumours appear to be that former owner Ecclestone is in the market to buy Force India with the aim to potentially rename it Brabham."
