Well, yeah - I only call them that in my head. I've called a few other cars pigs, or porkers - but yes the 917/20 is THE Pink Pig. Next race is too far away.
The silly season is going to be disappointing for all those reporters who are constantly looking for drama. Teams are starting to confirm extension of their current line-ups. Even all the conjecture about who will drive with Vettel next year is out the window. Renewal of the agreement between Scuderia Ferrari and Kimi Raikkonen (formula1.ferrari.com)
There are still a few interesting question marks.... Will Massa retire - again - and if so will they go looking for an experienced driver to pair Lan$e $troll? I guess Alonso could go there, but would he? Somehow I just don't see that happening, now do I see Williams shelling out Alonso money. What will Renault do? I still think Alonso would be a perfect match, they are moving forward steadily and the only reason to keep Palmer is if he's cheap. But now Kubica is in the mix (or is he really?) They could certainly afford Fred, and he would do wonders for the team's growth as they get their power unit up to speed. Sauber will be all new as Ferrari loads them up with their up and coming drivers much like the Toro Rosso team does for the Reds Bull, they could do partial seasons with their drivers so it could be a real revolving door over there, but with current Ferrari engines instead of 1-2 year old ones they could mix things up pretty well. Or we could could have a whole new crop of "Torpedos" and "Crash Maldonados" That leaves Big Mac - if Alonso wants to stay in F1 his choices are Mac or cheese - and that's only if the cheese loving surrender monkeys decide to ax the Joy, don't sign Kubby and beg him (with huge bundles of unmarked bills) to come aboard. If Renault does the incredible and sign Alonso, that puts the Macs in a funny position with only one season under VanStoffledorne's seat and no real experienced drivers willing to jump onto such a sinking ship. Plenty more to come yet from this silly season, and I think Alonso holds the key.
McLaren just confirmed Vandoorne for 2018. McLaren Honda confirms Stoffel Vandoorne will race for the team in 2018 as planned
I'm thinking Alonso will be driving an Indy Car next year. I don't think it's about the money in F1, it's about having fun racing.

I guess I haven't been paying attention. When did side pod openings get so small? They are small, right? Or is it just something about the angle that I'm not seeing right?
