I was on the fence. I think I'd like it more if the panels that see, to float out there were integrated into the body. In the interest of full disclosure, I'll wait for sticker price if this comes to pass, but, I know there are more than likely far better alternatives to drop that coin on.
So I would have to see it in real life and see if the performance matches the design... I don't see what the rear intake panels are for.. engine is up front and the rear brakes don't need that much cooling. Maybe Aero.. or just bolt on "lets make a air duct for no reason".. Anybody remember the old Ford Shogun? https://youtu.be/5UvuFSTGW10
Can you imagine what the MSRP on that would be if sold like that. I'm guessing in the $60,000 plus range and who here would buy that over a Corvette, or Shelby GT350 in the same price range... If they build it at all it won't look anywhere near that I'd guess.
See I was thinking about those holes. I think they're designed for ventilation. See the Roof scoop? That's so the driver gets air flow. It get hot in a track prepped car. So my guess is the back holes are to move air out as opposed to in. BTW not defending the ugly that is this car. Just trying rationalizing why the hell there are holes on the side of it.
First I hope they make it... if it has the performance to support the crazy looks... Ideally it would be a homologation car for a race series.
