On snowy days my old college dining hall used to use disposable cardboard trays instead of the hard resin trays that they usually used. I had to ask and found out that students the previous year had smuggled the trays out under their winter coats and used them as sleds! I missed that first snow day, but even back in the early 1990s we had weather forecasts. I smuggled one out the day before the next big snow. Man... those suckers made for incredible sleds! FYI: I cleaned it up and returned the tray a few days later (just a bit worse for wear). At the end of each year I returned the couple of sets of silverware that found their way back to my dorm room as well.
